Faith IDA

Faith is skilled in communication, problem-solving, negotiation, customer service, leadership and working within a team. She is confident in research, with proficient use of statistical methods of data analysis and software such as IBM SPSS Statistics and Microsoft Office.

Faith has a strong understanding of the scope of international development gained from studying MSc International Development, Sustainability and Social Justice degree at the University of Bath. The scope encompasses issues such as globalisation, human rights, international security, economic development, sustainability and global finance. She is passionate about international development with a particular interest in the region of Sub-Saharan Africa. She has successfully independently researched and written a paper on the economic stagnation in Africa, with a focus on Africapitalism as a key to transforming the economic sector with Rwanda, Ghana and Nigeria as case studies.

Faith is also a Co-Founder of a climate-smart farm in Nigeria that applies technology and effective methods of farming (hydroponics and aeroponics) to grow vegetables while providing sustainable solutions and services to Government agencies and businesses across Africa. She also has extensive volunteer and professional experience in research and policy; and has worked with organisations like RSM UK, Mercy Corps, Save the Children and Shell.

Faith has gained many interpersonal, time management and organisational skills through her experiences and extracurricular participation, and is keen to further broaden her horizons by gaining and developing more skills/experiences.
